Strange worlds. Hard choices. Earned answers.
Narrowpoint is a sequential supernatural mystery-horror trilogy set around a dangerous northern California coast where disappearances recur on a twenty-five-year pattern—and the people who come back do not return on the same clock as everyone else.
About the series
The series begins when seventeen-year-old June Mercer’s younger brother disappears near Narrowpoint’s Bellmouth cliffs at the same time a girl missing since 2001 walks out of the sea still seventeen years old. What starts as a rescue becomes a larger investigation into family history, impossible chronology, and a coastal boundary that does not behave like ordinary time.
Narrowpoint combines dangerous physical environments, grounded search-and-rescue logic, emotionally consequential family relationships, supernatural rules that must remain coherent, and mysteries that are expected to provide real answers rather than indefinite ambiguity.
What to expect
- High-concept coastal supernatural mystery-horror
- Upper-YA protagonists with adult-crossover stakes and tone
- Sibling rescue, family history, and old disappearances
- Cold-water, cliff, cave, and storm danger
- Competent adult responders rather than convenient YA incompetence
- Rule-based supernatural mystery with fair clues and earned explanations
- A sequential trilogy that escalates beyond Book 1 without invalidating its resolution

The Twenty-Fifth Tide
Every twenty-five years, the cliff takes someone. This year, it gives someone back.
June Mercer watches her younger brother disappear near the same cliffs that took her mother’s best friend in 2001—just as that missing girl returns from the sea, still seventeen.
